Like an embrace, you wrap my perspective with safety and confidence. Without you, I could never let go, or jump in, or forge forward on this path unseen.

There are only two players in this game of life: oneself, and everything else. We control the first. We don’t control the second. That’s why the only kind of control that Creators seek is self-control. Beyond that, we can only trust that the rest will work out in accordance with our needs.
Trust is how we let go of control and dropkick fear of failure out of the picture.
Seth Godin, author and marketing guru, has reminded millions of the importance of self-trust. You can do the thing. You will do the thing. You can trust yourself, because you can (mostly) control yourself (and your actions).
But how do we extend trust outside ourselves? How can we trust others, some we can’t even see? How can we trust the workings of the universe when we don’t even truly understand them?
Practice. Practice in saying, I trust that what I can’t control will work itself out. I trust that I am not the only piece of this puzzle. I trust that my most important contribution lies in this moment, in this action.
Trust is an exhalation, letting our most important partners in life do their job, while we do ours. Trust is recognizing our place in it all and believing that we belong.

Lesson learned: Creators use trust to focus, release fear, and make their most important impact.
