Action: Remember the Long Game

Creators rely on the compounding value of habits. Life isn’t lived in a day, nor is it created. So when we feel the urge of disappointment because we aren’t in a place to act to the fullest extent of our intention, we have to remember the long game.

What choice best serves your long-term intention? Is it to rest so that you can come back stronger tomorrow? Is it to complete a modified form of your task, instead of forgoing it completely, so that you can maintain the habit? Is it to say no when you want to say yes?

Commit to your daily intentions, but remember that the long game matters, and your future self will benefit from your decisions today.

Action:

When you’re struggling to make a decision, repeat to yourself: Remember the long game.
