Action: Find Nature

Did you know that there’s a wide range of data revealing that experiences of the natural world increase creativity and happiness levels, and reduce stress and anxiety? Some studies suggest that it takes only 11 minutes in nature to begin seeing these effects. (Don’t believe me? Look it up for yourself.)

Creators build habits that lend to the positive pursuit of their process and intended goals. Reducing unnecessary stress, alleviating anxiety, elevating our sense of creativity, and finding joy in the moment all contribute to our ability to create with intention. Luckily, we’ve been provided with an incredible tool for creating–you’ve just got to step outside and recognize it. 

Action: 

Decide on a moment to engage with nature today. It could be right now in your backyard. It could be a scheduled hike at 4pm in the meadow nearby.
