What if you believed that outcomes didn’t really matter? Would you try anyway? Would your task be worth it? 

In this scenario, the only way to move forward is to love the process, to find meaning in the process, to create action with the process itself. The process is the act of trying. The process is the act of creating. 

As creators, we are responsible for the process. We are responsible for setting our intentions and then working toward them with gusto. As creators, we are not responsible for the outcome, though we have hopes for what we imagine it to be. Our interaction with outcomes are intended to guide our journey, not rate its success. 

Part of working in The Creator Role is being aware of what we control and what we do not.  And outcomes are influenced by things we cannot control. 

When we make a choice, we are responsible for deciding with intention and integrity, then acting upon that choice with determination. Creators learn to choose and work in a way that leaves no room for should-haves or what-ifs. When outcomes are not as we intended, we are given more knowledge to inform our continued decision-making process, our continued creation. 

The importance of our process can become buried under our desire for outcome. But without a proper process, the outcome we desire will never be in reach.
